Challenges
Cancer is a global killer that threatens healthy people’s lives. Currently we know that there are more than 200 types of cancer, each with different characteristics. According to the latest estimates of the global cancer burden in 2021 released by the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), 9.96 million people would die from cancer worldwide in 2021. In China, 5 people die of cancer every minute. With the huge unmet demand for clinical care and therapeutic intervention, we are compelled to search for ways to make a difference in the lives of the people suffering from cancer.
Our Exploration
Our mission is to find ways to prevent and treat cancer by harnessing the expertise of our team and partners, with the most cutting-edge resources available. We invest heavily in R&D, allowing our researchers the freedom to explore effective treatments for a wide range of cancers. Up to this moment, CSPC has already made significant discoveries in the field of anti-tumor drugs. With a comprehensive understanding of the complexity of cancers and their impacts on patients, we have developed a number of products such as Duomexu, Jinyouli, Keali and Doenda, that offer new possibilities for cancer treatment. Our vision for the future is to strengthen our drug portfolio for breast cancer, lung cancer, and hematological tumors, with focuses on targeted drugs and combo uses, and to explore innovative drugs for liver cancer, colorectal cancer, and glioblastoma.
